Fátima (half day)
Center of Christian faith and of World pilgrimage, Fátima is visited by millions of people every year. An afternoon to don't miss.
Leaving Lisbon, we head north towards the Sanctuary of Lady of Fatima. Arriving at the Sanctuary, it’s possible to visit the Basilica, with the tombs of Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta; the Apparition Chapel, heart of the shrine; the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with the fountain of the Holy Water. During this time it is possible to attend mass. After, to better understand the history of the apparitions, we will go to Aljustrel/ Valinhos/ Loca do Anjo, where we find the houses of the Little Shepherds, the places of the apparitions of the Angel, and the place of the fourth apparition of Our Lady, on the 19th August 1917. After the visits, we will return to Lisbon.
