Sintra Deluxe

A luxury day... Enter the fantasy of a beautiful romantic palace, the charm of Sintra village and the cosmopolitanism of Cascais and Estoril.

We leave for the majestic and romantic Pena Palace*, an astonishing fairytale castle, located in one of the highest peaks of Sintra mountain range. At the end of the morning, free time to walk in the streets of Sintra village (Cultural Landscape by UNESCO), that enchanted kings and inspired poets, to appreciate the several handicraft shops and tea-rooms, where you can taste the delicious local sweets, like the "Queijadas" or the “Travesseiros”. Lunch enjoying a stunning view over the mountains.

We leave for Colares**, demarcated region recognized for its table wines, following until Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in continental Europe. Along the coast, passing by Guincho beach, spot of windsurfers, by Boca do Inferno, a grotto created by the sea erosion, always with a sea view, enjoying the landscape until we arrive in Cascais, where we take a glimpse of the fishing port. We return to Lisbon by Estoril Coast, where we can have a panoramic view of the Casino and its gardens.

* If possible (closed on Mondays, replaced by Queluz Palace)
** Way done on tramcar (Sintra – Colares), from April to October: on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The other days, way done by bus.
